Late Ex- Customs CG, Dikko UK Bello, The Kanwan Katsina
The late immediate past Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Abdullahi Dikko Inde has been described as a reformer who brought a lot of changes to the Service, computerized its operations as well as enhanced revenue generation for the Federal Government.
The Kanwan Katsina and District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello stated this, when he led a delegation of village heads and other traditional title holders, on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Katsina.
He said that Dikko , as Customs boss, recorded tremendous achievements in the area of training and retraining of staff of the service, while he also enhanced the welfare of his staff.
The traditional ruler described Dikko’s death as a great loss to Katsina State and the nation at large adding that he received with shock the news of his passing away .
He disclosed that the ex-Customs Comptroller General, was his former boss whom he worked with for about thirty years.
The Kanwan Katsina, was received by the brother of the deceased and Sarkin Musawan Katsina, Alhaji Sagir Bature, and other family members. He prayed for the reposed of the soul of Abdullahi Dikko and asked Allah to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
