In furtherance of the existing cordial working relationship with Government Agencies aimed at ensuring the success of Government’s policy of Ease of Doing Business, the management of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) will pay a working visit to the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Ikeja Lagos to consult with the Controller General Compliance team of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
The Association will also use the opportunity of the visit to seek further clarification on the recent order of the Customs Comptroller General(CGC) , Colonel Hameed Ali (RTD) on the removal of all checkpoints in all the roads and highways in the country.
It said its engagement with the team will give it the opportunity to get the true position on the conflict associated with the directive.
The working visit which is scheduled for Wednesday August 2nd, 2017 will afford the two organizations opportunity to rub minds on matters of best practices, with a view to stemming bottlenecks associated with the movement of cargo along the city roads and highways in the country.
