Retirement Thanksgiving Service Holds for NPA GMs, Moltok,Oyinlola,As they Bow Out In Style

A retirement thanksgiving Service is to hold today, for the retiring General Manager and head of the  Corporate and Strategic Communications (C&S) of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mrs Josephine Moltok and the General Manager and head of the Legal Services of the organization , Mrs  Oluyemisi Oyinlola.

Though, the  event is being organized by the  Inner Chamber , the Christian group of the Authority at the organisation’s  headquarters Chapel  in Lagos,  staff of the Authority of different faiths are also expected to attend to honour the retirees.

Moltok  and Oyinlola  are bowing out , with their  head high ,after meritorious  services  at the organization, which spanned 35  years , and during which they  contributed immensely to the development  of the NPA in various ways ,  and in their different departments, mostly in the realm of public relations and image making for the Authority, and the Legal Services  for Oyinlola.

The Inner Chamber is holding the Thanksgiving Service for Moltok   and Oyinlola ,to pray for their  success in their  future endeavor,  and to thank God for them , for the capacity,  knowledge , and skills with which they  were endowed with,  and which they  utilized to successfully laundered the image of the NPA , as the GM C&S for both of them and the Legal Department.

Oyinlola ,apart from the different capacities she served in the Legal Department , was the GM C&SC  for a  short while, last year , before she was again transferred back to the Legal Services  , and Moltok moved from the Administration Division  to head the C&SC, in 2022, as a way of putting a round peg in a round hole, for the two outgoing GMs.

Moltok  , during her stint at the NPA  , utilized  her very rich experience and expertise in  Public Relations  Management, to  professionally provide excellent services to the Publics of the organisation  and the Media , as well as created a niche for herself and the Authority  .

The outgoing GM also displayed competence  , intelligence  and professionalism in the way and manner  she handled   her assignments at  the NPA , particularly as an Image Maker  , thus making it possible for the organization to  have a good relationship with the Media and the general public.

Not one to delay responses to  every request bordering on information among others from the Media  , Moltok  combined physical beauty with a good heart to attend to her duty seamlessly  and promoted the course of the NPA positively.

She served at the PR Unit of the defunct Roll- Roll- Off(RORO) Port , Tin Can of the NPA , headed the PR Unit of the Lagos Seaport , in Apapa, at the former Western Zone of the organization also in Apapa, , then at the Calabar Port , before she headed   the former Headquarters of the organization in Abuja and later as the representative of the Authority , with the Public and the National Assembly for many years as a General Manager.

Moltok, due to her resilience and expertise , was transferred to the London Office of the NPA , where she headed the Liaison Office of the Authority  for many years , before returning to Nigeria  ,and was the General Manager  Administration Division  for a short while , following which she was moved to the C&SC as the  head . .
