The new Controller of the Sokoto/Zamfara Area Command, of the Nigerian Customs Service(NCS) , Comptroller Musa Omale PhD has promised to sustain the legacy of surpassing revenue target by his predecessor as well as facilitate legitimate trade .
Speaking at the handing over to him by the outgoing Controller, Comptroller Abdulhamid Ma’aji which took place at the Area Command yesterday, Dr Omale also implored stakeholders , to adhere to proper declaration and payment of appropriate duties.
According to a Statement issued by the Command’s PRO, DSC AT Abubakar, Omale called on the officers to work together with him in synergy so as to achieve the desired result.
In his speech, Ma’aji urged officers and stakeholders to extend to his successor, the same support he received, dedicating the success, he achieved during his stewardship, to officers and men of the Command.
Comptroller Musa Omale an ace Customs officer was enlisted into the Service in 1991 as an Assistant Superintendent and has served in various Commands and the Headquarters.
Until his present posting, he served as Comptroller Headquarters.
